Hello, we have found an old form in our Access 2003 DB, whose function we would like to use.
The form name is = Research_StockNames_Conversations_F
We would like to use the comments colour, change control
In the form = ResearchAnalyst_F = and in other forms.
Could I receive assistance on how to make the Comments Background colours change?

Thank you,
Crystal

Thank you Arnelgp, for adding the field = ColorIdx = and now this form works the way we want.

Can I use the = Field = ColorIdx = in other forms that we would like to change the comment colours?
Out of curiosity, what does this field do, because I can not see any reference to it in the form or Modules.

Can I call you Sherlock Holmes for helping us find this secrete after MANY years?

Thank you,
Nicole

it is used in Conditional Format of your Comment/Remarks textbox.
this field is constantly being updated when you select from the Option Group on the form.
see the AfterUpdate event (code) of the control.

you can use it, but it's only purpose is to set the Comment backcolor.

Thank you, Arnelgp.
We never thought of looking into the Conditional Formatting section.
