Hi,

Usually I can find a way around the painfully annoying flickering Access is consumed by.

Dynamically loading an image to image control in Access always causes this, but I am hoping someone can help solve this.
Attached is an example that mirrors the full project.

Any ideas? My only other option is to scrap the "preview" feature of this image list, which is sad.

Thanks---

Selecting a new image will always involve a short delay depending on the file size and dimensions of the images.
However if neither are too large this should be negligible.
For a start I would reduce the size of your image controls which will allow faster loading and less blurred images than you have now.

If its not too late, you could look at my folder image viewer app which does much the same thing and, I believe, doesn't suffer from form flicker.
There are three forms demonstrating different ways of doing this.
See Folder Image Viewer - Mendip Data Systems
