barcode fonts

Hello all,

I need to find out more about printing barcodes in Access 2000. I've seen posts that refer to barcode fonts, but I cannot find any other information in Help, or otherwise. Can somebody point me in the right direction?

It seems to be TrueType, so ought to be usable in any Windows app.
