Politicians have to parse their words very carefully so that what they seemingly say, is what they have said. With Biden, there always seems to be an unknown entity deep within the White House that issues clarifications. If clarifications are necessary, then the speaker of those words is an incompetent. This post is not about the apologetic "clarifications", but what was initially reported. Biden has made numerous foreign policy gaffes that demonstrate foreign policy incompetence.

In the article below, Biden is seemingly throwing Taiwan under the bus by not supporting Taiwanese "independence". The response by China is an aggressive reaffirmation that "Beijing's Taiwan Affairs Office insists that reunification 'inevitable'". An unfortunate selection of words that apparently aggravated China even though it implies that the Biden administration is appeasing China.

The article below reviews one of Biden's gaffes where Biden implies that a "minor incursion" by Russia into the Ukraine would not be challenged. Beyond the issue of "incursion", Biden/Harris actually taunted Putin to invade the Ukraine by encouraging the Ukraine to join NATO and if Putin did not like it, Putin could "go pound sand". NATO has been "aggressively" expanding into the former sphere of Soviet influence since the collapse of the Soviet Union. Russia has viewed that as unacceptable, There was no immediate need for the Ukraine to join NATO. The obvious diplomatic solution would have been a neutral Ukraine, assuming it would be OK with the Ukraine.

Biden bloviates on how he has unconditional support for Israel. If Biden really supported Israel, he would be demanding that Hamas surrender and that Hezbollah be disarmed. So far silence from the White House on that issue. As the Hamas/Israeli conflict rages on, the White Press Secretary instead of recognizing growing antisemitism and demanding that antisemitism be condemned; unbelievably pleaded that people must not be consumed by Islamophobia.

Going a bit deeper into the Hamas/Israeli conflict, the Biden administration has waived the sanctions imposed on Iran. This has allowed Iran to become rich enough to support the terrorist acts of Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis. In response, to recent provocations by the Houthis, the Biden administration has sent US military to the Mediterranean and the Red Sea for a "show of force". So far the "show of force" appears meaningless. By removing the sanctions on Iran, the Biden administration is indirectly funding anti-Israeli terrorism. That contradicts Biden's assertion of supporting Israel.

The article below would not serve as a direct example of a Biden foreign policy failure, but one could make the claim that other world leader, such as Erdogan, seeing Biden's weakness on the world stage are taking advantage of it to pursue their own goals. In the article below, it would appear that Turkey is using the Israeli/Hamas conflict as cover to continue their genocidal conflict against the Kurds. Turkey, is not helping the world with eradicating Hamas, Hezbollah, or the Houthis. (As a side note, there have been massive pro-Palestinian rallies accusing Israel of genocide. There probably will be no save the Kurd rallies. The left does not care about Muslim on Muslim violence but goes into a frenzy when Israel is involved.)
