That's cool! Better start looking for another one because the birds will figure that one out sooner or later.

17 days and no poop. Seen big flock of birds near my house and a few in the grass, but no poop near the snake. On opposite hand rail there is a little. I need to get another house keeper, however.

A friend of mine told me that if I wanted to chase away certain animals, I should get an outdoor plastic owl (for squirrels) or hawk (for nuisance birds.) I never tried it because I found another way to get rid of the squirrels. (Found the way they were getting into my attic and plugged the hold with sheet steel.)

It's been seven weeks since I put out the rubber snake, and still no bird poop. Yesterday I put out a second one on the opposite rail.

Glad to hear that worked out for you!
The inside must be a mess though if you couldn't get a cleaning lady past the rubber snake?

I had a squirrel problem. The plastic owl was recommended but we had a storm and it flew away.

Looks like a rubber snake toy that sometimes gets tossed from floats during Mardi Gras.

I take it, it opened for you. And yes it's rubber, but it keeps the birds from pooping on my hand rails.

I guess the reason I can't open it is probably due to a privacy setting in my FF browser.
Ya know, you can just upload a pic right into your post without making it an attachment. Just sayin...

I do that on my email, but didn't think I could do that in AWF.
Just tried it, said file to big.

Well I've never had that issue here, but then again, I'm resizing a lot of images lately that I've been posting in my uke thread. I just presumed they'd be too big from both file size and image size perspectives so I make them about 350 for the biggest dimension and 50% quality. They look OK. I think it's more of a problem with camera images since they're usually quite large. I say that because the forum has never balked when I uploaded a screen capture.

Here ya go Dick, our squirrels would freak out. They jump straight up at the sight of a hose. How's the wife doing? Well I hope.

Wife is a little depressed, her whole place is under quarantine. Her computer screwed up and they had to hand it to me thru the door.
I see that you displayed my snake with a PNG. I am assuming that uses less bites than JPG. Is that correct?
