I'm just introducing myself. My main task is to update a well used but aging front end for an online tartan shop. The data is online in an MS SQL database (our own SQL Server) and the front end is an ACCESS mdb with an ODBC link into the live data. Some of the code is 20 years old, but it mostly dates from 2014/15.
I suppose my big question is "Do I start work on accdb - or should I say, where do I start?"

Hello, Blair, and welcome to the forum. I'll defer to others for specifics of your question because I've never used SQL Server. My big-box DBs were non-Microsoft in nature.
