Blurry and Scrambled (1 Viewer)

I call my wife in the nursing home every morning around 7:45. On Duo App (android moto) so that we can see each other. Another woman friend calls her one a week. It works ok. One day my wife said my face was blurry and scrambled. The friend called the same day and my wife said that the friends face was blurry and scrambled. Anybody have any idea what is happing. I doubt it’s a setting. If there is a setting that my wife can screw up, I am sure my wife can find it. When I was able to go into the nursing home, I was able to fix her screw ups, but like most nursing homes she is under quarantine.

As a test though, I would try WhatsApp.
I have used that with people in the USA and the picture is very good.?

Thanks for answering. I forget where I read it, but isn't there some controversy about spying with WhatsApp.
