Bound images flash twice while browsing the records

I am building a new database from an Excel sheet to show a number of railway items. For each item there are several figures as well as a photo that I have attached as a bound image.

The problem is that each time I move from one record to the next the image shows not once but twice, first as a brief flash and then again. While flashing all the other information on the record is still from the previous record. Once the image shows for the second time, all the related data also lights up.

If there isn't any image attached to the record all the information lights up straight away when I navigate between the records.

Is there any way to prevent this? I would prefer to simply get the move from one record to the next with image as well as all information at once.

Sorry if this question has already been answered. I've searched the forum, but couldn't find any info on this.

I still haven't figured out this one. Would really appreciate if someone had some suggestions!
