So i have a form in view (actually a form and subform),extracted from a Main Table by query.
The form in view has a tab which has additional results arising from the query.
However I need to "capture" only the current item in view to enable summary calcs,(add/sum/etc),so as not to perform them on the whole found table,or on the Main table,o/wise of course wrong answers will be the result.
Anyone got any intersting ideas on that please.

Looking for some ideas on this please

Not really sure what you mean..when I use Popup forms, if I refer to a calculated field on the underlying query, it gives results for this record, unless i tell it specifically not to.

Can you be more specific?

Tks yr reply.
The problem is the underlying table is made up of continuos forms, but only one is displayed at a time, and I want to calculate only on the (sub) form figures displayed.
However i will take a rain chek,on this as I may have solved the problem by referring to a "control in a subform" in a new query.
It will take a while to verify the calcs are all coming out correct, and I will post again if the result is not right
TKX.
