Calculating totals for an invoice

My query has 3 tables, StudentDetails, Assessments, and AssessmentFees.

The aim of the query is to list all the assessments that the students have failed. I can do that fine.

I am having problems with calculating the total fields however.

there are 3 assessments, Exam, Report and X-Exam, which when resat cost 50, 120, and 130 pounds respectively.

How do i calculate the total amount owed for each student (grouped by student number??)

i.e: Lee fails Exam and Report. Exam=£50, Report=£120. So Lee owes a total of £170. It is the total i am having problems with.

Exam report and XX are all under 'Type' field, and the fees are all under 'amount' field...
