calculating totals from the subform to the main report

Hi,

I am having trouble adding the two sums together and have the two totals displayed at the top of the report.

One total is from the main report, and the other total comes from the subreport.

I have attached a sample test database to play around with, but i'm getting no where.

I am not sure what I am missing.

I have checked your Report and made modifications to make it the way you want. The following changes done on the Report:

1. Link Master Fields & Link Child Fields property values both changed to ID. Earlier Link Child Fields value was lbl_num.
   
2. To bring the Sub-Report chair_count Total value on the Main Report I have used the DSum() Function in the second Textbox on the Report Header. This will bring the chair_count Total value from the Sub-Report Source Query directly.

Check the expressions and textbox names in the textbox controls on the Main Report header.
