Calculation Report

I have a part inventory database that I am working on. I have to create all the reports that the store room's old program had in it. One of these was a Total Value report. This report has all of my part classifications on it, the total value of each of those classifications, and the number of parts in each classification.

Example:

Type Total Value Items in Group
Administrative $19,271.81 218
Electrical $289,108.60 893

I know there is probably an easy way to do this, but I can't figure it out as usual. Any help would be appreciated.

Look under sorting and grouping in the design of your reports, or you can make your report with the wizard and it will take you thruough series of steps to group your data.
