Hi,
I have what i think to be quite a complicated problem, hopefully you can throw some light on it.
Basically I have members and venues etc. In my form where I am adding members to each venue I look up the price. Prices vary between members and non-members.
In the arrangements form (which combines the venues and members) I have an amount paid field. I want that amount to automatically to appear at the right price i.e. the members get the members price and vice versa.
I then want this price to be recorded in that form/table so that I can base reports on it etc.
Basically in the members table i specificy whether someone is a member or not and in the arrangements form I look it up so you can see what they are. Now I could enter the price manually after using my subform to lookup the other tables, but there must be a quicker way of doing this.
Any ideas people?
Ive tried a variety of Iffs and Sums etc, but dont really know wot direction to head in! I was thinking in a query something like Iff [member?]=Yes THEN ADD to [Amount Paid] and same for non members.
Hmm, reading into it again....all i really need is an IF statement that says IF your a member then you add from [field1] or if your not a member add from [field2].
I hope you understand what im getting at?
Thanks Dan
