hi all

I have a db that does some basic queries and outputs an excel file, now the problem is; everytime i run the db the db size increases i am upto almost 450mb i delete all records at the end but to no avail please help and many thanks to all who post

There may be 2 things that will help.

1... Try a compact and repair.. Tool -> Database Utilities -> compact and repair.

2... You can automatically do this by selecting Tools -> Options, then on the General Tab select Compact on Close.
