can you color a form in datasheet view?

I have a form that displays inventory using a datasheet format..

is there a way that i can make it so that if that record has a sales order number (because it is sold) then highlight that record...

Hi Durien

The closest that I have come to this is by using conditional formatting. The drawback being that you can only apply the formatting to an individual field.

So, if you wanted to highlight the whole record, you would have to set the conditional formatting for every field - not an elegant solution at all!

What you might want to consider as a very poor work-around, is just to highlight just the first column of the datasheet.

I will have a look today and see if I can find something better...but I have my doubts...

Thanks for your input.... Using the conditional formating is not ideal but it is better than nothing, so I just started using it....... .
