can you lock datasheet column sizes?

Hello, I have a datasheet subform and was wondering if anyone knows of a method to lock the column size and permanently hide columns.

At the moment the users of the form will easily be able to drag the column sizes to what they want and also reveal the hidden columns...

I've tried the Hide and Freeze column menu commands but cant achieve what i want with them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...
