Cannot Copy Table (See Pic)

Basic question:

For some reason, I am unable to copy the data in a table using the square at the top left of the table:

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

The table you're showing has no data, the row you have highlighted is a new row, what would there be to copy?

Ah, I see. I was trying to get the field name information copied/pasted into an Excel file.
