Hi,
I read most of the related threads on issues Exculsive access. But none seemed to help.
Here's the issue -
The issue started when I set "Default open mode" to "Exclusive" on one of my .MDBs.
However, after a second thought, I changed it back to "Shared" as well.
But now, whenever there are more than one user using the on a completely separate, say, xx.mdb file, I get the error - "you can't open xx.mdb for exclusive use because another user has database open or because you do not have permission to open exclusively. "
While others get "Could not use xx.mdb; file already in use" error and they cannot open the file at all.
I checked and re-checked, it still has "Default open mode" set to "Shared" and "Default Record locking" is set to "No Locks". This is same for all my .MDBs.
Any thoughts on how to resolve this?
Thanks in adv,
rr
