So I have my database working pretty well and I'm trying to polish it up.

Suddenly, my forms won't save. I try to close them and it offers to save, but when I click on 'Yes' it doesn't close the form. The only way I can close the form is to not save it.

Is it me or is this a known issue?

Can you post a copy of the database--zip format?

Is it possible that you have opened the database ReadOnly? or similar?

Google with "ms access can not save form changes"

I don't use macros. I was able to edit the design of TREKRIS Main Menu ( changed color of Account Manager button) and it saved OK.
Are there some steps that you can identify to mimic what you did that wouldn't save?

Someone else mentioned to me that it may be because I'm not signed in. I'm having our admin reset my Office pw so I can add my credentials. I will let you know if that works.

If you are in a domain-managed environment but not signed in, you are using the "Everyone" permissions, which might be restrictive in your domain. Might... or more like probably. If you have to sign in but didn't, you are not even an Authenticated User to your own home directory. I would be surprised under those circumstances if you are even able to save a NOTEPAD file.

So... something I found online said to go to Database Tools > Analyze Performance.
I did that and it seems to be working now... although a couple buttons that I added for filtering don't work anymore, but I think I can fix those.
