Cascading comboboxes in datasheet view

I have 2 cascading combo's in datasheet view that work as planned except for the second combo goes blank after you click off the row and re-appear when you click on the row again. Anyone else experience that?

Data Sheet view is pretty much the same as a form in continuous view mode.

Derived controls, such as cascading combo boxes, that rely on the value derived from the current record, will not work correctly in this view, as all instances of the control will reflect the value held in the record that currently hold focus.
