I have had the following problem for YEARS across countless versions of MS Access (currently using 2016) and so I must be missing something but every time I try to create a chart in MS Access I hit the same issue...

There are chart options I need to change that can only be gotten to by double-clicking on the chart. However, double-clicking on the chart (in design view) also resizes the chart proportions and distorts the text. Is there a way to stop the distortion or get to the options without double-clicking?

Two examples of options I want to change are:
1. Format Data Series > Line weight
2. Tools > Options > Empty calls plotted as > Interpolated

Thanks.

The main reason I am replying to your thread is to give it a bump up the list as it looks like it's been missed.

However I thought I should also mention that I've never used charts, but I get the impression from the threads I've seen over the years that charts in MS Access are quite a poor option. The best option is to do the charts in Excel. That's what I understand.
