In Access 97 is there a way to change the default background of forms in a database to a picture (preferably a .JPG, otherwise a .BMP) in the background?

Thanks in advance.

In the design view for the form, change the value for picture to the fully qualified name of the .JPG file. One caveat, the larger the graphics file, the better resolution of the picture. You may also need to change some of the other values like picture size mode to stretch if you want the graphic to display for the entire form. HTH.

Just a word of caution!
If you embed these pictures you are using in the database, the size of the database will be increased at least by the size of the picture file. So be careful not to abuse this action. If you link the picture you will need to include the file with the correct path to the file in all machines that uses this picture.

Just a thought
