Question change the default on the find and replace

Has anyone come up on how to change the default from "whole field" to "any part of field"

Are you talking about doing it in code? But I think Wayne's link will help anyway.

Don't think that will help. I have only three options:
1. Fast Search
2.General Search
3.Start of field Search

What I was looking for was default to Any Part of the field.

It would be great, that some where ms 2010 would give you that option.

And what does General Search say?

"Select General Search to search all fields and match any part of the field."
