Changing the way a combobox list data

Is there anyway that I can change how a comboxbox lists the data. Rather than by proposalID which is the field that the combo is bound to I want a 2nd field called names to be listed in alpha order in the combobox. This should be easy but i am new to Access and SQL. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Try set up combo box's "Column Widths" properties to: 0",2". In this way, it will hide the first column, and give the second column 2" space.

Make your query or your sql sorted by second column.
