I'm writing a database that has a form with a chart based on several weeks' worth of daily sales. The chart is based on a table, and one field is an On/Off field, another is the date at the start of the week (which becomes the series name on the chart), and fields for each day of the week. This table's data is displayed via a subform under the chart, so that the user can uncheck the On/Off field, click a "Recalculate" button, and the chart will recalculate to exclude those weeks. It also updates a series called "Average" which is the average of all of the "On" weeks.
The problem is that, when the chart is recalculated, the colors of all of the series change. Ideally I would like them all to stay the same after recalculating as before, and I'd also like to specify a given color for the Average series (black) and, if possible, make the line bolder/thicker than the other series.
I'm new to charts, but I'm really happy with what I have so far. Can you point me in the right direction?
