Chart "You must add..." message

When I try to Create a Chart based on A Query, which is based on two different tables, I get the following message:

You must add field CategoryID to your record source if you want to use this link.

What is this and how do I solve it?

Hi Erbarmen
You have not included the fields from BOTH tables that determines the relationship link between them. Charts generally create a crosstab query from which they source the data - You need to include the join fields in the query so that the chart can make sense of the data.
