Morning,
(Well it is here
)
I'm wondering if it's possable to limit the records shown on a table through a form? ie if this field shows "x" then this field can be show.
For example. I have a table that differant types of events are recorded on, on of these fields is and events type and it's selected from a combo box. To make life a little easier for people I've made seperateforms for a few depts, and I don't want the qa data on the issue's page and vice versa.
Not certain this will complicate things but sods law says it will
The combo box for the events table comes from another table and the event types are seperated into groups of events that will show on the differant events table, qa events table shows qa event types, this is done by query.
It's probably not a problem but I guess I was trying to avoid basing an event form on a query when a combo box on the form would be based on the same query!! (Prob normal practice
but hey gunho n00b here
)
I can post the database if required.
Thanks
