Chr(13) & Chr(10)

I'm trying to use Chr(13) & Chr(10) to make a new line in my report. It's not working and I'm not sure why. This is what is in the textbox:

=[LetterNeeded] & Chr(13) & Chr(10) & [LetterNeeded2]

I have the CanGrow property set to Yes both on the textbox and on the detail section.

I search the forum and came close...but it's not working. Phooey.

well, go figure...I set the text format property to plain text and it worked. So I guess never mind.
