Doesn't it seem like Chrome should:
  • Not auto fill passwords
  • Not allow a look into Settings > Passwords
... When you are NOT signed in?

I mean, I appreciate the fact that at least it doesn't auto fill the password to my Gmail or Google apps, but they need to change their whole concept of "signing in" to be MORE than just "synch" purposes.

If I've taken the time to Sign Out (even though I still show as a 'Person' in Chrome), it ought to do me the favor of not auto filling my passwords to all of my password protected sites! Banking, work, you name it.

It seems a bit silly to have the sign in/out feature if it is still going to give people all your passwords! Geez!!!

I understand what you are saying but this is probably the wrong place to complain. You should be able to send Google a feedback message with the word "SECURITY ISSUE" in the header or topic, or at least in the first line.

I know, just watercooler-venting, I suppose. And on the off chance there was some feature I didn't know about Chrome someone might know that might overcome this -but probably not

You can turn off autofill options and password saving.

True, but I want it to do all that when I'm signed in.
