I have a combo box that selects from a table. No Problem, The table field is an Integer, The combo box insists on displaying the results with 2 decimal points. OK both zeros but a)why and b) how can I get rid of then so that pure integer is shown.

Table field shows 1234
Combo box shows 1234.00

Thanks

Go into the properties of the combo box and under Format/Decimal Places change it from Auto to 0.

I am using 97 and had already changed the decimal field to 0 but to no effect. Is there something that I am doing wrong

I'm using 97 as well, bah progress is a dirty word.

The only other thing I can think of is the number of decinal places in the Table design set to 0?

The only other thing I can suggest is placing a dead chicken on top of you computer and perform a Voodoo demon exorcision.

Sometimes Access acts as if it's possesed...

Good luck and if you have to, make sure the chicken is free range.

Looks like dead free range chicken and needles accompanied by throbbing music at midnight is the solution

What is the format property set to? That's all I can think of sorry...

Bring forth the holy water.

Data Type Number
Field Size Integer
Format Fixed
Decimal Places 0

I see your problem.

Where you've got Format Fixed delete it so there is nothing in the Format Field. I've just tried it and it works.

I think it's something to do with when it's fixed format it displays 2 decimal places at all times regardless.

I guess you'll be having roast chicken instead tonight...

Done,

Chicken plucked and trussed

Cheers
