Combo box set focus (1 Viewer)

I have a combo box (drop down list) of projects on top of my form.
I also have the "prev record" and "next record" buttons as well. However, when I move to next or prev record the combo doesn't change and is confusing to some. Is that any way I can make sure the Combo box is set to whatever record the current form is on when moving the next/prev record button?

Please not I'm new at using set focus, etc. So would really need someone to walk me thru it. Thanks so much

What does the combobox do/what is it for?

Are you at all familiar with VBA? If you want us to walk you through, having the name of the combobox control would help too.
