combo box to fill values in subform

i have this reservation form and in that i have this services form.

the Services form saves its data to the services table and so does the reeservation.

the services subform is linked with the reservation form by the reservation code

what i want is that a combo box in the service subform that could fill the rest of the services subform (field values) after it is updated.

right now i have tried everything to make it work but i think i hard-coding would be the way. i tried the dlookup function but an error message says that the selected service does not exist

Are you wanting to fill the other boxes on the form with data linked to the type of service? I.e. if you select "Room Cleaning" from the Combo box, it fills the other boxes with a who, a when, etc?

well i want the combo box to get its values from another seprate file called the product table.
for example the products table has the fields productid, productdescription, retailprice .....

i want the combo box to set the values of the text boxes in the reserved services from the product chosen in the combo box.

just like the odrders subform in the northwind.mdb database

I believe that the combo box wizard has an option for this.
