Combobox Highlight Colour

I've got a combobox with a purplish blueish back colour which looks ok. The problem I have though is that when I use the drop down list, as I move the mouse over an entry in the list, it becomes highlighted in a horrible yellowish brownish colour. Does anyone know if it is possible to set the highlight colour independently of the back colour in a combo box?

I hate that too. I've never seen it done and I don't think it's possible. I think, by default, it inverses the BackColor of the combobox.

I just choose good colours these days.

Pretty sure it is automatic.
I use 13421619 for the back color of my listboxes and combo boxes as the highlight color is a dullish red.. not to bad
