A combobox filters the records on a form by date with the help of some month buttons. ie choose 2004 from the combo and Jan from a button and my code sets the filter property of the form. It works well until the case when there are no records found in which case the text in the combo box disappears either completely or with a black selection box. It then re-appears if you select a month where there are records.
I have tried all sorts of requerys etc to no avail. Also when i switch to the debug window to track the code and then switch back the text is back again - spooky. This does not happen if you switch between forms though.
Additionally sic this does not happen if the form is set to 'allow additions' but i dont really want the empty record that appears on the form.
Any ideas?
