Hi everyone,

This is perhaps a simple question for which I have not been able to find an answer to. I've been trying to create a form which contain command buttons, but the problem is that the look of these buttons are not similar to those found in Windows XP.

I know it’s purely cosmetic  - but how do I make my buttons in Access 2003 to look like those on my Windows XP?

I've seen some samples here on these forums which have the 'XP' look. Any hints on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

All the best,
Sab.

Ensure that the Access 2003 was not converted from an earlier version of Access. Create a new Access 2003 db. Converted db's appear to inherit the button formats [square edges] from the older version of Access even though you converted the db into Access 2003.

Thanks!

Thanks for the answer!

Note for those who have wondered the same thing...

I had converted and saved my db in Access 2003 as a "2003" version; and restarted. However this alone did not display or convert the buttons. The only way I could manage to display the buttons, were to create a new db and Export the old forms etc into the newly created db. Otherwise the buttons did not change on their own.

Thanks again,
Sab.
