Command button to synchronized "sub"form

I put a command button on my main form, and want it to pull up a "sub"form with data that is synched with whatever record is currently displayed on the main form via an unbound text box. How do I do that?

If you need me to attach any specifics from my DB, let me know.

Why can't you link the Master/Child fields?

Maybe I'm just totally missing it, but I didn't see the Master/Child fields anywhere in the properties for the button... maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place?

There's no need for a command button, if the subform is linked to the main form then just set the child/master links on the main form property sheet

The info I'm linking to is an unbound text box, not info directly within the master form.
