Command Buttons

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to change the shape (not size) of command buttons, i.e. is there a list of options anywhere which you can choose or change the shape or appearance of a command button, I dont just mean pputting a picture on it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Here is an option. You could import a picture of a shape you want and use it as a command button. Look at this video on the subject.

I'm not sure you can do much with Command buttons, but what you could try is using an object or a shape which you create outside of Access and then insert it as an OLE unbound object, you can then you can play around with the special effect property on the onClick event
Me.OLEUnboundobject.SpecialEffect = 2 (sunken) to make it appear it's been clicked on and then afterwards reset it to
Me.OLEUnboundobject.SpecialEffect = 1 (raised) to make it appear raised again
