Hi All,

I'm not an experienced user.

I have a backend database sitting on a server. We have 6 or 7 people with copies of the front-end database, all local and all on the same network. From time to time, some of them get the following " the command or action 'saverecord' isn;t available now"

'saverecord' is the first line of a macro (run command / saverecord) that invoices and prints forms, and is assigned to a button. If the user then re-clicks on the button, it mostly works.

I'm guessing that this might be network traffic or soemthing. Anyone got any ideas on where to start looking for this ' not available now' problem?

thanks !

Could it be an issue with more than one user trying to save the same record at the same time? This would result in a "not available now" message.

Good call, but isn't that.

The form is only used by 1 person. It's the last stage in invocing. There is a chance that the record may still be open somewhere on a different form, and somebody forgot to close a form page, but that would be a 1% chance. Plus, whenever the user reclicks, the form button then works. The 6 or 7 people all work in the same office on different parts of the database, so i don't think it's that simple. My uneducated guess would be network traffic or something.

Thanks anyway.
