Compact on close

Is there any way to compact a database everytime it closes through VBA. Is there a way to detect when a database is being closed? Is there VBA coding for compacting?
My database keeps blowing up in size everytime I turn my back.

You can use the TSI SOON utility to close a database, compact it, and then (optionally) open it again:
