I am currently producing weekly reports in Access. The report runs off a query that can produce a varying number of results.

The report consists of a table in the upper half of the page with a chart below to provide a visual aid. However, sometimes the query returns a high number of results. This results in a large table which then pushes the chart down with half the chart appearing on Page 1 and half on Page 2.

Is there something that I can do so that in this scenario the whole chart automatically appears on Page 2?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave.

You could put a pagebreak control(with visible property set to False) just before the chart and make it visible when you know you data table is too large for the chart to fit on page 1.

Thanks Rabbie, that is a good option. I'm just wondering whether there are any methods which are automatic rather than manual?

If the chart is in its own section of the report you should be able to set the "Keeptogether" property of the section to Yes which may solve your problem

I've just tried the "keeptogether" property but that doesn't seem to have worked.
