Conditional Text on a Report based on multiple parameters, a couple of if-thens.

I am going to be printing a label from a report generated from a form.

Box A (which draws its options from TableA) has ~20 options. Lets say 10 of these options give me the answer immediately; AnsA

The other 10 options of Box A then depend on the answer of Box B (which draws its options from TableB), to give either AnsB or AnsC.

I need AnsA, AnsB, or AnsC to show up on this form, but which table can I store these answers in? Also, Box B will give me another answer, but thankfully that is only dependent upon itself.

I guess you'd call this a design theory question?

First there is no need to store the information as you only want to print.. Even if you need to store information.. Think again after reading a bit on Storing calculated values by Allen Browne.

Second, could help if we could have some real data.. Just saying BoxA, depends on Data from tableB; is not of much help.. What is the data? What is BoxA? What is the type of data? What is AnsC?

Ok forget every variable I used in my OP, it's all about to change.

Con1 = One end of the fiber. Based on values from idConnectors. The two categories here are UPC or APC. A value of D is UPC, Value E is APC, Value F is UPC, Value G is APC, and so on.

Con2 = Other end of the fiber. Based on values from idConnectors Same as above.

Mode = The cable mode. 9 and 8 mean a single mode, 3, 4, 6, 7, H mean multimode.

If and only if BOTH Con1 and Con2 are APC, (EG or EE or GG in this example), I want the report to display a text box saying "specification insertion loss is .2"

If one or both of the values of Con1 and Con2 are UPC, I want it to take a look at Mode. If Mode is 9 or 8, I want the box to say insertion loss is .3

Otherwise, if one or both values of Con1 or Con2 are UPC, and Mode is not 9 or 8, I want it to say insertion loss is .4
