Hello,
i am new to access - ok not really - i do some work with access 97 - a [very] long time ago...
In the mean time i did some database programming (mysql, sqlite, ...) for the web.
What i have to do is to setup a contact book with access but i don't know the shortest/easiest way to do it.
I have 4 tables (in german): Person, PersonKontakt, Kontakt and Kontakttyp (even if i think the purpose of the tables are quite obvious: the tables in english: Person, PersonContact, Contact and Contacttype).
One Contact can be used by many persons (same adress!) and one person can have some contacts so a m-n-relation is necessary. Furhtermore is each Contact of exactly one type (Contacttype)... Ok - i think you know that this is some entity relationship stuff. So i attached a pdf file containing the ER diagram.
What i wanna know is how could the data input done by only ONE access form. So the attachement shows also a simplified form design
thanks in advance
