Contains query

Hi,

I have a parameter query that works on a form. Users user the form to pass the paramter to get the results.

It's a contain function..

Like "*" & [Forms]![Parameter search on lab]![Text0] & "*"

When run, it keeps saying invalid bracketing. I also try to delete extra brackets, but no luck...

can anybody help me?

Are you putting this in the Criteria row, or are you trying to put it in a field row?

I put it in the Criteria

There does not appear to be anything wrong with that criteria statement as you posted it, so the error may be coming from something wrong in one of the field rows.

Does the query return records if you remove that from the criteria row without making any other changes?
