Is it possible, in a continuous form, to have the blank record, (next available record), to appear at the top of the records when opening the form.

Neil,

In short, no. Access will always want to display the new record at the
bottom of the form.

You could get sneaky and use another subform and display it "above"
your regular form. With some judicious manipulation via code you should
be able to see what you want.

But will it be worth the effort?

Wayne

Thanks

Your right Wayne its not worth it. I have read through some similar posts and using information from there I will just sete the forms Data Entry property to True. Thanks anyway
