Control Break Technique

Does anyone have any idea what control break technique is?

I believe that is what you are doing when you hold your control (Ctrl) key and your Break key (Pause/Break) down at the same time. That will interrupt executing code.

Beckie,

The Control-Break will interrupt code that's executing.

It also interrupts queries.

If you are running a report, it likely uses a query, and the report has events
during formatting/printing that Control-Break stops.

Working on an assignment and was told to use the control break technique and couldn't quite figure out what it was.
Told to use it in creating a report.

First you said "execution of", then you said "creating".

Like I said earlier Control-Break is just a way of interrupting Access things
while they execute.

I can't see how that relates to creating a report.
