convert Access Database to Project(.adp)?

Is there any way to convert an existing MS Access Database to a MS Access project (.adp)??

Thanks for the direction. I'm a bit concerned about this wizard because the help says to back up the database--is that JUST the local existing Access database, or the SQL database that's already on the server that I want to pull from.

(I don't want to do ANYTHING but read from the server database.)

you know you don't have to use an .adp to link to a server db right?!?

just wanted to double check as this is a pretty common misconception - to use an mde or mdb link the tables in the FE to the tables in the BE...

Also - in case your not familiar with .adp files BE CAREFULL as changes in the FE WILL EFFECT tables in the BE as you can delete objects in the .adp FE on the server... dangerous indeed!
