convert access desktop app to Web based App

Hi All

I want to gather some ideas from you guys about it. I have created an Access application few years ago and now we are thinking of converting it into XML format. SO I think the first step will be to convert the Access backend into sql server or oracle. And then change the frontend into Java# or what other options can you suggest?

These are questions raised by my manager : What are pros and cons of each option? Could it be hosted by banks existing infrastructure (SharePoint) or could MS Dynamics do anything to meet everything in the middle?

I have no idea what MS dynamics do?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks ridders, Can anyone please explain me what are MS Dynamics? What r they used for? is it frontend or backend? How this can be compared with other technologies?

It's basically Microsoft's version of SAP - a global does everything (badly or overly complicatedly) for everyone CRM / Accounts / Inventory etc etc package.
