Converting from '97-2000

How big of a nightmare will it be to convert our 97 db to 2000? Tell me there's a very simple answer......

Sorry, but here's your simple answer -

It depends upon how your Db is constructed, which controls, references, etc. that you used in it's construction.

It could go totally smooth.

It could go relatively smooth and you have some rough things to sort out.

And, on the other hand, it could cause you some pain (and possibly some BIG PAIN) in having to fix some things.

I've experienced it all three ways. It just depended on what features I had to use in my Db's.

Just try a copy of your database on a PC with 2000, that's the easiest way to see what your in for.
