Cool trick!!!!

ok - maybe you can tell i'm new to access

but i just learned that you can replace the regular microsoft access splash screen (the annoying one that pops up everytime you open access) with a custom splash

all you need to do is name the bitmap image that you want as the splash screen the same as your database and keep it in the same directory

(for example addresses.mdb and addresses.bmp just have to be in the same folder!!)

now i dont mind seeing the splash screen anymore

And if you make a really tiny 1x1 bitmap for your splash screen it will seem as if you don't have a splash screen at all.
