Hi ,

recently posted a thread about a union query. I have got over that hurdle now but face a new problem which is:

When I have created a right join to bring back data from a table, if there is no data it will leave the fields blank. Is there any way I could bring back the row data of the same table.??

Hope some one could suggest something.

Thanks again.

Check out the example db. Notice table2 only contains 2 records. Is this what you are wanting. Why do you want to do this?

Example db?

It is a lot more complex than my first example...

Would you mind if I send you an example?

Anyone up for a challenge, this issue is cracking me up?

can you post an example of the db? Is there a fields called activity type in table one and 2?

The db is huge. There is only a feild in the left table called activity which is basically a count of rows = activty .

I know the joins which i have will not diplay any as there no matches in the left table. Is there a way if there are no matching fields in the left table to still display the fields whichj have joins from the right table? I have four joins, thereofre i would like the fields to be displayed. The reason i am asking is that I have 2 fields from the right table but when reporting there is no catrgorys for them. Such as activty type or specialty.

RESOLVED, Edited Joins to get data what i wanted.

Thanks
